THE STATION
Earth Station Zero is a private incubator — a place where ideas are received, tested, and prepared for launch.
Some arrive as systems. Some as stories. Some as machines that don’t exist yet. Every one starts here, at zero.
THE FOUNDER
Robert L. Rodriguez has spent decades leading large-scale technology programs for commercial clients and state and local governments — turning around troubled projects and building teams that deliver. At IBM, he served as a consultant, an offering manager, and an account executive, seeing technology from every side: how it's built, how it's sold, and how it's used.
But before technology, there was storytelling. In high school he served as senior class president and ran the school's cable television station. He went on to earn a degree in Humanities and Social Sciences, with an emphasis in television broadcasting, from County College of Morris, and a degree in Mass Communications, with a minor in film, from The Pennsylvania State University.
He learned structure in the Army, where he trained as a satellite repairer before choosing the infantry, and left as a Specialist (E-4). His time in uniform was short, but the lesson stuck: discipline is what turns intention into results.
Earth Station Zero is where that discipline meets imagination — where the work is less about what is and more about what could be.
He is married and the father of three daughters.
